Boiler Fan Introduction

Industrial boiler is one of the most popular application areas for SIMO BLOWER's products. SIMO BLOWER can provide full sets of blower fan products, can meet 1~450T of coal fired boiler, biomass boiler, waste incineration boiler and other industrial boiler systems' performance requirements.

Working Principle

·The motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed. The gas between the blades gains centrifugal force as the impeller rotates.

 

·The gas is thrown towards the outer edge of the impeller and enters the volute, where some of its kinetic energy is converted into pressure energy.

 

·A negative pressure is created at the center of the impeller, continuously drawing in external gas and creating a continuous airflow.

 

·Energy Conversion: Motor mechanical energy → Gas kinetic energy → Pressure energy

Core Structure:

·Impeller: The core component, consisting of a front disc, rear disc, and blades (radial, backward-curved, forward-curved); backward-curved blades offer the highest efficiency and wear resistance, and are the mainstream type used in boiler fans.

 

·Casing (Vortex): Collects, diffuses, and guides airflow; its cross-section is mostly a logarithmic spiral.

 

·Inlet Collector (Air Inlet Box): Provides uniform airflow and reduces inlet losses.

 

·Regulating Mechanism: Inlet guide vane (adjustable stationary blades), frequency converter speed control, adjustable moving blades (axial flow), used to regulate airflow and pressure.

 

·Transmission System: Direct coupling (D-type, high efficiency), V-belt drive (C-type, flexible).

 

·Bearings and Lubrication: Support the rotor; require high temperature resistance and vibration resistance; commonly lubricated with grease or thin oil.
